Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role? Do you have experience of working with children or young people with special needs?
We at The Teach Team have several SEN support roles throughout Birmingham. We are open to considering people from different types of backgrounds that all have the desire to support and work with children with SEN. Working with SEN children across Birmingham and North Warwickshire can be very rewarding, which requires a strong passion for dealing with a variety of different educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and resources to support students’ learning.
• Delivering high quality small group and 1:1 interventions, assisting in the monitoring and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
• Creative a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings, open evenings etc.
Requirements
• Hold an HLTA qualification and/or hold a degree, have a secure knowledge of primary education.
• Enhanced valid DBS
• Safeguarding trained (we can support with this)
• SEN experience / knowledge
Start Date: As soon as possible
Days /Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am – 3.30pm
Contract: Day to Day and Long Term jobs available
Pay: £85 - £100 per day dependent upon experience
